Prodigious Talent: Violinist Cara Bunnell, the youngest of the musical Bunnell siblings, excels on everything from Bach to Beatles.

Somewhere George Harrison was smiling. As the five young siblings that call themselves the Bunnell Family Strings played Harrison's masterful love song, the romantic and ethereal spirit of "The Quiet Beatle" lived again.

Those Bunnell kids have serious musical chops, but they also have something that cannot be taught in a conservatory-feeling.

Beautiful sounds of the violin, cello and bass filled a packed house in room 801 as Corrie, Cara, Keren, Kimberly and Ross Bunnell showed some older, more experienced musicians a thing or two. This young band of five has been playing strings together for about 10 years. Their concert was fresh, lively and fun.

Introducing a piece called "Fluzzadillo," Corrie Bunnell explained, that the name given to big pesky mosquitoes by their father when they were younger. It was a delightful piece.

Another standout was "Healer of My Heart," a low-key and very touching song that was just beautiful. "American String Quartet No. 17," the finale, consisted of four parts. It was alternately fast to send the heart racing, gentle and sad. With Bunnell Bravado it was a breathtaking performance, the best piece of the night.

The Jackson 5 was more famous, but the Bunnell 5 can hold their own with any group of young musicians. Let's hope for a return engagement soon.
